We decided to have a car day today to rest the knee. We made a huge loop south through the mountains, experience both rain and sun but some dramatic lighting. We stopped off at an attractive lake and pottered around Labro, yet another beautiful village perched high up the mountainside. The local people from years gone by built in these spots as the air was clean or belle aire as opposed to the valleys where there was mal aire and they thought they caught malaria from the poor air.
We found beautiful spots for a picnic and more orchid hunts. Once home it was beer o'clock and time for a BBQ.
