An excellent day today in the mountains and a revisit to the Piano Grande in fabulous weather. Rob had to leave for England this morning but we enjoyed his parting gift of a bottle of Montefalco Rosso. Excellent; thanks Rob.
A long day ahead of us tomorrow. Peter and Linda head down to Rome to fly back home while we drive back north to Lugano to pick up the, now repaired, Freelander. The plan is to cam by Lake Maggiorre for a few days and then move in to Grindelwald and the Eiger. Hopefully all goes well with the vehicle exchange. Plenty of photos to add to this when I get them processed and, providing we have wifi I shall expand these notes.
